Meet Our Palo Alto Dentists

Born and raised in the Bay area, and a graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, Dr. Alex Yen is a trusted dentist who has found a home practicing general dentistry in Palo Alto.

Dr. Yen has a two-pillar system that sets him apart from the rest.
The first pillar is “Ethical Dentistry”. This means that you will not be sold any unnecessary dental work. Photographs, radiographs (x-rays), and diagrams will be used to illustrate the importance of any recommended procedure.
The second pillar is “Practicing Perfect”. Practicing perfect means that no shortcuts will be taken; from the most complicated implant to a routine cleaning, everything will be done as close to perfect as possible.

When not in the office, Dr. Yen enjoys weightlifting and playing paintball. His team is currently practicing to compete in the National Xball League Las Vegas tournament.

Dr. Jessica Sheu is a Bay Area local and completed the accelerated dental program at the University of the Pacific, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the Stockton campus, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the San Francisco campus. In her free time, she is always trying new restaurants or new recipes as an avid foodie, while staying active with hikes and home workouts to keep off all the extra calories.

As a dentist, she is gentle and calm, yet passionate about oral healthcare and helping patients both look and feel their best. It is of utmost value to her that every patient is heard and understood, in order to establish a feeling of mutual trust, and to work together to allow the patient to make decisions for their best interests. Her goal is to make sure everyone’s visit is comfortable and that they walk out of the office with a big smile on their face.
